Thank you for your interest. Our ‘Thank you Postie’ campaign has now closed.
What was the Thank you Postie campaign?
This Christmas, we’re celebrating the magic of small things – the small touches, the small gestures and the amazing community of small businesses we work with. We know there’s no way we could deliver the small touches or support the nation’s small businesses without the nation’s postal superstars, so we created this campaign to do our bit to say thank you to them at their busiest time of year.
During November, we gave away ‘Postie Pack’s containing chocolate bars handcrafted by our wonderful small business Partner Quirky Chocolate and a poem to those who wanted to surprise their postie. All of the Postie Packs we had available have now been sent out.
We also ran a competition to celebrate those postal workers who’d gone above and beyond this year, and received over 20,000 nominations from people hoping to win their local postie the ultimate Christmas thank you package.
Why has it closed?
We saw unprecedented demand for our postie packs, and have now sent out all of the gifts that were available. We’re so pleased that so many posties will receive an extra surprise when they come to the door this Christmas.
We’re now busy sifting through the nominations for our Thank You Postie competition to make sure the winning Posties who were nominated by the public receive their gift in plenty of time for Christmas.
Will you do this again?
We know the nation’s postal workers work hard all year round, so we’re thinking about what we can do for them next.
In the meantime, we encourage everyone to take a moment to give your postie a hello, or a wave - a smile, a gift or a ‘Merry Christmas’ will go a long way.
I missed out on getting a postie pack, what can I do?
We’ve now sent out all of the postie packs we had available, but there are plenty of letterbox-sized gifts available on notonthehighstreet.
I didn’t receive my Postie Pack.
We’ve now sent out all of the postie packs we had available, along with some extra ‘Thank you Postie’ poem postcards.
